The social contract has been about rights and responsibilities in human societies. Facebook and its role in manufacturing and sustaining a global social contract, a new “we” is clearly one of the research areas that needs more attention. A new “we” is coming of age in the new age of connectivity and communication with a new outlook toward responsibility and rights at individual and collective levels. Facebook purports to build a new world based on connection and communication which is based on progress and prosperity. However, a fundamental factor and feature of Facebook that needs attention and more research is that people and users are becoming increasingly lonely, separated and independent from each other in this process while connecting and communicating with one another. This new social contract and “we” thus have the new features of the relationship between the human agency and his/her social structures. Cyberspace is the product of human agency and clearly creates and sustains a specific social structure. This research seeks to study the relationship between human agency, changing technical tools of communication and connection and emerging and evolving social structures and social contracts. Bandura’s “social cognitive theory” (2006) rejects a conflict and dichotomy between agency and social structure. As agency helps to build new social structures after destroying the old ones these new structures create and sustain a new social contract and “we” with a new sense of responsibility, obligations, and rights.

In the present article relationship of thought and language for the priority aspect, from al-Fārābī’s point of view is discussed. Based on the three meanings of nuṭq (: speech), speaking is a process in which human soul is concerned with the three levels of intellectual faculty, apprehended objects in the mind as well as the expression by language. Then, this reveals a close and inseparable relationship between language and thought. Again it is suggested that relying on the tripartite theory of word, world, and intelligibles, by Al-Fārābī, at the time of the process of speaking, human soul makes use of all knowledge either acquired previously, or the knowledge obtaining as the content of experience in the actual speech situation. Thus, in connection with the priority aspect of the relationship between thought and language, I suppose, in an analytical aspect of priority, there is no priority relation between them, namely, they are interdependent. It can be supported by this view that thought and gaining knowledge are continued even while speaking. Besides, it has been argued that the human soul, as the chief agent of thinking and obtaining knowledge, is not completely passive; then human thought cannot have transcendental supremacy over language.

The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the roles of object relations, paranoid thoughts and interdependence in the stability of married women’s life in Mashhad. This study was a descriptive correlational study. The research population consisted of the married women in Districts 10 and 12 of the city of Mashhad in 2023, and the exact number was not known. Based on Tabachnick and Fidell's formula, 74 samples were required, but for higher reliability and more accuracy in the results, 212 people were selected through convenience sampling (e.g., households, university and hospitals). The research tools included Booth et al. Marital Instability Questionnaire (1983), the Bell Object Relations Questionnaire (1995), the Green et al. Paranoid Thoughts Scale (2008) and Fisher et al. Interdependence Questionnaire (1991). Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient and enter regression were used in data analysis. The results of data analysis showed that there is a significant negative relationship between object relations, paranoid thoughts and interdependence with the marital stability (P<0.01). Also, the results of the regression analysis showed that only paranoid thoughts and interdependence are significant predictors for the marital stability (P<0.01). According to the findings, it can be concluded that the higher the amount of paranoid thoughts and interdependence in married women, the lower their marital stability will be.
