This study reports psychometric properties and derivation of norms for a Persian version of the Multiple Intelligence Developmental Assessment Scales (MIDAS) for Adults. After examining and confirming equivalency between English and Persian versions, translated and validated by Saeidi, Ostovar, Shearer, and Asghari Jafarabadi (2015), the scale was administered to a sample (N = 2146), including students, undergraduates, graduates, and adults from different provinces in Iran. The participants were at least 19 years old and above (M = 29.40, SD = 2.26). Out of 2146 samples, 1103 females and 1043 were males. To examine the validity and reliability properties of the scale, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, Cronbach Alpha (α) reliability correlation coefficients, and corrected item-total correlations were employed. Exploratory factor analysis using varimax rotation identified eight principal components, which accounted for 67.21% of the variance for 115 items. The internal consistency coefficient (α = .92; ranging from 0.89 to 0.93) was also very high. The confirmatory analysis generally replicated the original conceptualization of the MIDAS. According to the results, the Persian-MIDAS-adults questionnaire has good psychometric properties in the research community and can be safely used as a valid tool to assess MI in Iran.

Background: The Brief Accessibility, Responsiveness and Engagement (BARE) Scale, is a short self-report questionnaire that measures the key behaviors of attachment system. It can be easily administered by both clinicians and researchers of different domains as the dyadic relationship of attachment and mental/physical health has proved by a vast majority of studies. To our knowledge, there is no measure that specifically focuses on couple attachment. Furthermore, we could not find any systematic review and/or meta-analysis which have been conducted to evaluate the psychometric properties of BARE. Methods/design: Two independent reviewers will search comprehensively through relevant databases and also grey literature. Information will be analyzed by means of priori defined criteria by Two of reviewers. Seemingly, data will be extracted from the full texts of included studies based on a set of data extraction form in accordance with the related psychometric information. The methodological quality of studies on the development and validation of BARE will be assessed using consensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN) checklist. Finally, the psychometrics of this tool, will then be analyzed using predefined criteria. Result. Systematic review with meta-analyses involving multidimensional outcomes. Discussion: In this protocol, we have briefly described our method for conducting a systematic review in order to measuring the psychometric properties of BARE. All of reasons call for exploring psychometric properties of BARE discussed comprehensively in introduction. It is a first and crucial step to formulate the recommendations every researcher either a clinician needs in work with couples. Systematic review registration: PROSPERO CRD42020210098

There has been a significant growth in people's use of social media in recent years. It has been determined that the digital footprints are a reflection of the personality. It is possible to use this data to predict characteristics and use it in various fields, such as job Assessment Centers. The purpose of this research was to develop and examine the psychometric properties of the online profile-based personality questionnaire (OPBPQ). This study was conducted based on a quantitative positivist paradigm, utilizing a cross-sectional design. A total of 300 participants from different organizations completed the self-reported questionnaires. The data analysis procedure included item screening, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), test for common method bias (CMB), determination of convergent validity, and invariance analysis (configural, metric, and scalar). The results showed that the OPBPQ can appropriately predict personality features and is a reliable and valid instrument. The results showed that the personality prediction questionnaire based on an online profile can appropriately predict personality features and is a reliable and valid instrument. The questionnaire can predict personality features using the data that people share on social media. Also, it can assist psychologists in using a new and reliable instrument for evaluating one’s characteristics. The development of a valid and reliable questionnaire can be useful for psychotherapists, employees, and researchers for the purposes of helping clients and organizations.
